The purpose of the France Angels Personal Data Protection Policy is to describe the conditions under which France Angels, as the Data Controller, processes personal data, and what are the rights and obligations in relation to a such treatment.

Since May 25, 2018, the aforementioned processing is subject to EU regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (known as “RGDP”), relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the freedom to circulation of these data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC.

The Policy applies to all users of the site www.franceangels.org. In addition, this Policy also applies to the processing carried out by France Angels in the context of its communication activities, carrying out studies and representation of interest as well as the processing of any information relating to representatives of associations, companies or other partners cooperating or providing services to France Angels. France Angels ensures that it essentially collects general identifying information about everyone with whom France Angels interacts, such as name, title, position, company name, business and / or private email address. and / or mobile phone number as well as any information provided directly by such persons (e.g. by email or by providing business cards).

This processing must be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and include information provided voluntarily when answering questions in registration forms or otherwise, as well as any information received by France Angels from the third parties.

If personal data of another person is provided to France Angels, that means that  person is considered to have been previously informed of this privacy policy and, where applicable, to have given their consent for this communication.

France Angels tends to collect and process Personal Data in a fair and lawful manner.

The Processing of Personal Data, implemented by France Angels, responds to explicit, legitimate and determined purposes.

The data collected is not intended to be used for commercial purposes.

France Angels ensures the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security and confidentiality to personal data, in order to protect them against accidental or illegal destruction or modification, accidental loss, unauthorized disclosure or access and against other illegal forms of processing.

France Angels keeps personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and processed. France Angels may however retain personal data for a longer period to comply with legal obligations and in particular the applicable limitation periods.

France Angels takes all necessary steps to ensure that personal data is accurate, complete and, if necessary, updated. To this end, France Angels may request to review and update the personal data it holds.

France Angels, in particular its permanent team, must be spontaneously informed whenever there is a change in a personal situation, to ensure that personal data is kept up to date.

France Angels may disclose personal data only to the following specific categories of recipients: its IT and personal assistance service providers, its sponsors and partners, other members within the framework of France Angels activities, journalists, public decision-makers, public bodies and event organizers.

When necessary to allow the transfer outside the EU, France Angels concludes the standard data protection clauses (controller to controller) adopted by the European Commission (decision 2004/915 / EC) with the recipients concerned.
